The
Consulting Process
|
- Scheduling:
An initial consultation is requested by the
client and scheduled for a mutually
convenient time, date and place.
- Consultation:
This meeting provides the basic discussion
forum for the client to introduce her/his
problem or need to the consultant.
- Assessment:
The consultant reviews the information
provided by the client and assesses the
proposed project, then determines whether
proceeding with the proposed project would
be desirable based on work schedules,
availability of resources, etc.
- Proposal:
consultant
formulates a plan of action, then prepares
and submits a written proposal for client's
review and consideration.
- Response:
After due consideration, client responds to
consultant's proposal.
- Agreement: A
formal Consulting Agreement is
prepared by the consultant and submitted to
the client for review, approval and
signature.
Once properly executed, the Consulting

protecting the parties involved. |
